COVID-19 Service Updates
As the CDC, local governments, and St Francis of Assisi parish provide updated guidance, St Vincent de Paul continues to adjust how we can continue to safely serve those in need.
Here is an update, as of March 19, 2020
St Vincent de Paul continues to respond to requests we are receiving from our assistance phone line: (214) 619-4096. However, we have, for the most part, suspended all in-person evaluations and will utilize other means to meet with, and understand the best way to assist those requesting assistance.
Starting tomorrow, March 20, 2020, the SVdP Thrift Stores in Plano and Dallas will be closed until April 1st
Due to CDC guidelines on large gatherings, we have canceled our planned spring Bingo Fundraising event (May 2), as well as our Bundle Sunday donation collection event (April 18 and 19)
The Catholic Charities Dallas Mobile Food Pantry is still planning to be available on March 28 at St. Francis of Assisi at 1 pm. If you need assistance with food, please visit this or one of the other many locations the mobile food pantry is available.
We continue to offer our prayers for all those affected and in need, and ask all of our community to continue to support St Vincent de Paul with your prayers.
