Friends of the Poor Walk - Oct 9

Save the Date.jpg

October 9th, 2021

Come join us for a morning of fellowship and fun as we walk for the poor and needy in our city. We will have music, prizes for the kids, refreshments, t-shirts and a chance to meet fellow parishioners and get that exercise we all need.

Registration: 9:00 am

Walk Begins:  10:00 am

St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church
8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, TX

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to assist men, women, and children in our local area who are in crisis regardless of their religion, ethnic or social background, health, gender, or political opinions.

Tell your friends and set up a team for your group. Please join us in raising money by participating in our walk. All proceeds from our walk go directly to benefit people living in the Frisco ISD, Little Elm, Celina, Prosper area.

In fiscal year 2020, the Frisco conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul contributions:

  • Adults and Children Helped = 1,222

  • Time Devoted SVDP Ministry Work = 10,639 Hours

  • Funds Disbursed for Shelter, Utilities, Phone, Food/Gas/Medicine = $201,877

We look to provide a hand up, not a hand-out.
